Totally agree with this.. I only watch 3 shows on TV and I absolutely loathe the rest of it (sans anything educational).
Walked out of the apartment the other day to head to work.. passing the trash that supers have thrown onto the curb and what do I see out of the corner of my eye? The easily identifiable tag by De La Vega, “Become Your Dream,” scribed on an old TV stand.
Supposedly, he lives in the area so I really shouldn’t be too surprised to see his tag on my block, but it was cool to stumble upon it. I’ve been to his shop a couple of times down in the East Village and it’s pretty interesting. I’d definitely suggest visiting and picking up some art or just checking out his hiliarious and thought-provoking drawings.
BUA’s latest piece, aptly called The Bass Player, has finally been revealed and is set to be released on November 1st. No word on when us “normies” will be able to pickup the print version! If you’ve never experienced the works of BUA, now’s the perfect time! Here are a couple of my newer favorites: Blues Man, Monx.
